The team plays in the South A Division of the WCLL. Its divisional opponents are Arizona, Arizona State, Chapman Univ., USC, UCLA, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara. LMU regularly plays teams from the Northern Division as well as its cross town rivals Pepperdine Univ, Claremont, and Occidental College. USL MDIA Along with WCLL membership, LMU participates in national competition for the USLIA National Championship. Over 160 college teams participate in this virtual varsity organization. The USLIA is a part of the sports national governing body, US Lacrosse. This organization runs a weekly national poll in which LMU has previously been ranked.
